Naviglio Martesana
A canal about 38 km long completed in 1496 by Ludovico il Moro which flanks the ancient Roman road passing the Adda on two branches, Vaprio and Cassano.
Navigation is active from April to October on Saturdays and public holidays, or for groups by reservation. For those looking for a more “adventurous” experience, it is possible to go down the river in a rafting boatbetween Porto d´Adda and Trezzo d´Adda, or try a fun canoe trip.
The Palace of Monza
The Royal Villa (Italian: Villa Reale) is a historical building in
Monza, northern Italy. It lies on the banks of the Lambro river,
surrounded by the large Monza Park, one of the largest enclosed parks
in Europe.
